Settling in...

I just had to post a couple of cute photos. The first is of Tyler sleeping and the second is Abby checking up on her baby brother after her nap. She moved her stepstool from the bathroom into his room so that she could get a better view.

Tyler Scott Chase

It has taken me a few days, but I am finally posting Tyler's arrival. Tyler was born 10-11-10 at 1050 am weighing in at 8 lbs 5 oz. I ended up being induced since apparently he was in no hurry to come on his own. We are all home and getting settled in. My mom left this morning after staying with us for the last 2 weeks. She is going to be greatly missed - especially over the next few days until we all get settled into a new routine.

Tyler is a very laid back baby, hardly even cries. A much different temperment at this point than his sister had. We will see how long it lasts! He is a very good eater! We went for our check-up at the pediatrician on Friday and he is already back up to 8 lbs 3 oz and on his way out of newborn clothes!

J. Razz & Tazz farm Gibsonville

My mom is in town hoping for an appearance by Baby Tyler... while we are waiting we decided to get out and enjoy the fall weather. We took Abby to enjoy the farm in Gibsonville. This is the same place I took Abby last year. She loved the cow train again (and again - she rode it 3 times). This year she was brave enough to jump into the corn kernels and play. She rode a "choo-choo" train with Grandma too, walked the corn maze, and conquered haystack mountain!

No arrival from Tyler yet....I am keeping my fingers crossed that he comes soon!

Greensboro Childrens Museum II

Owen and Noah came down to visit Abby this past weekend. We took the kids to the children's museum since it was 96 degrees outside on Saturday! The kids had a great time and took great naps when we got home. Abby and Noah had the most fun dressing up in costumes. Abby cried when we left the dresses behind :) Abby made a really funny face while I was taking her picture, but then she did a great job of taking a "bow" afterwards. Very dramatic!

Greensboro Children's Museum

Paul had some studying to do for school so Abby and I headed to the Children's Museum today. It wasn't very busy so Abby got to play with everything!! :) She had a great time, and Mommy got to sit which was awesome!!

House Pics-Outside

As many of you have heard, we are trying to get the house on the market over the next week or so. Paul has been doing a ton of work since I am not able to help much at present. The outside was our big Labor Day Weekend project. I just wanted to share.

Greensboro Science Center

It was raining a bit yesterday afternoon, but that didn't stop us from meeting the Chavarria's out in Greensboro. All the kids had a good time and we got to enjoy the cooler temps for a bit. Thanks to Kennady. Landon, and Dawson for sharing the Spiderman umbrella since I forgot to bring Abby's with us.
