Trunk-or-Treat at Daycare

Here are some pics from Daycare this past Friday. Abby dressed as a Butterfly. She got to ride around in a wagon and get some Trick-or-Treat practice! Her friend Sydney from school rode in the wagon with her. Apparently they kept kicking each other!

Trick-or-Treat!

Abigail spent the day with Daddy while Mommy was at work. Looks like it was an interesting afternoon...she dressed as Tigger for Trick-or-Treat around the neighborhood. Paul said that she walked for over an hour and carried her bag the whole way! She went up to one house, put out her bag, and said "Candy". That's my girl! She is worn out! She never even made into the tub tonight - she came in and said Night-Night! Maybe we will go for a long walk again tomorrow!

"naptime"

So, Abby was taking her nap this afternoon (or so I thought). I went to check on her and found out that she had been a little busy. It seems that silly Mommy left a bin of Abby's long sleeve shirts next to the bed. Abby had so nicely pulled them out and put them in bed with her. Such a helpful girl!

Pumpkin Carving

Abby helped carve her first jack-o-lanterns this afternoon. She wasn't too crazy about putting her hands inside the pumpkins. She kept saying "yucky", so mommy gave her a spoon which worked much better! Mommy carved the pumpkins while Abby told me what to carve. She informed me that they should have 2 eyes, a nose, and a mouth. :) Mommy threw in a tooth for good measure. After we were all done, Abby gave the pumpkins kisses and we put them on the front step. She was very worried that the little ones "hat" wouldn't stay on.

Happy Birthday Paul!

Today is Paul's 36th birthday! Abby and I made a 'Mini" pumpkin cheesecake for him! Abby helped him blow out the candles! Everytime she blew them out she would say "more" and Paul would relight them for her to practice. She should be well practiced by the time that 2nd birthday rolls around!

Just a cute couple of pictures

It is so rare that Abigail smiles for the camera anymore, I have to show off when I can!

Just random..

Just a couple random shots from around the house. Everyone knows that Abby loves piggies! She decided that she was going to sleep with all her piggies last night! She had a couple more Piglets (from Winnie the Pooh) around her feet as well! This morning she tried out her new stepstool in the bathroom and brushed her teeth before school (daycare). She is getting so big it is hard to believe! The jeans she is wearing are 2T and they were way too long and way too big just a few weeks ago! She has decided to start eating again over the last few weeks and thankfully she is starting to put on a little weight again!!

Fall Festival in Hillsborough, NC

Abby and Mommy checked out the fall festival in Hillsborough, NC while Daddy spent the day studying. We stopped by to support Mommy's friend Marsi in raising money for the Great Dane Society and her mission trip to Haiti. We checked out the Mapleview Dairy Farm and had some great ice cream! We then took a hayride and Abby got the chance to point out all the cows and "Moo" at them! She did not follow any of Farmer Bob's rules...though she did clearly read the sign! :)

Bumper Jumpers

Abby and Mommy went to Bumper Jumpers in Greensboro today. They have open playtime everyday which makes it really nice. I had to crawl into most of the things with her. We were both exhausted by the time we left.

Tiger Costume

Abby wanted to wear her Tigger costume the other day, so we hung around the house and even went to the grocery in it! She kept trying to growl, we both had a good time!

More pics from cornmaze

So apparently, I could not post all these pics under one post...so here they are!

Fall

Abby and I kicked off fall with a trip to Gibsonville to the corn maze today while Paul studied. We didn't stay too long, as I have bronchitis again and get tired easily. I figured in the great outdoors people wouldn't be all freaked out that maybe I have swine flu! :) Abby got to pick her very own pumpkin and explore the corn maze. She also rode the "cowtrain" and LOVED it! Although she is not smiling in any of the pics I took (silly camera aversion) - she really had a great time! She really did not want to let anyone else ride. I guess I may have to take her out there again soon!
