Ice Cream Party

Abby had her first party at our house on Saturday. She was so excited that morning she kept running around the house waving her arms and saying "Woo-Hoo, Ice Cream Party!!"

We had a few of her friends over to play on the Slip & Slide, run in the sprinkler, and have some ice cream sundaes. I lost my camera for the first half of the party, so I didn't get any pics of the other kids on the slide :( However, I did get a pic of a few kids making sundaes and then everyone watching Tangled while enjoying their ice cream creations.

Tyler loved the blow-up pool on the back deck. Actually so did Abby! That may have to make a few more appearances before the end of summer!

Ohio

Random pics from our few days in Ohio. The 3 musketeers all together. Free kids cones from McDonalds after Ian's baseball game. Tyler had his first taste of chocolate cake at Ian's birthday celebration at Grandma and Grandpa Chase's house. It was a great preview for his birthday. It is going to be so much fun!!!

Ohio- Boonshoft

We took the kids to Boonshoft while we were in Ohio. The kids played their hearts out! It was Abby's first time there so her cousins Owen and Noah had to show her the ropes. All of the hands on is wonderful. Abby is already asking when we can go back!

Ohio - Outside/Smores

The kids had a great time hanging out in "Toddlerville" at Grandma's house. Uncle Lance build a fire in his new fire pit and we roasted marshmallows and ate smores. Tyler even joined in the fun - although all he really got was graham crackers :)

Grandparents

I finally got some great pics of Tyler with his wonderful grandparents! He fell asleep on Grandma Owens at Boonshoft museum while the older kids played their hearts out.

Boston

Paul and I headed to Boston for an anesthesia conference for me. The kids stayed in OH with grandparents and cousins. We had a great time! We walked, and walked, and walked! :) We went out to dinner in the North End for wonderful Italian food. Found a great pastry shop there! It was nice to have some quiet dinners and not have to worry about if it was a "kid friendly" restaurant.
The conference was great too!
