Zoo

We took a break from packing and the kids and I headed to the zoo today with the Arledge family. Ava is in Abby's class group at school and Alex is in Tylers. Their mom Michelle works with me in the OR at the Surgery Center. It was in the 80's and sunny!! The kids had a great time and Abby ran all over the place. She actually stayed upright today - NO FALLS!!!! This is much improved over her last visit :) The girls got to feed the giraffes, play their hearts out on the playground, and get a great view of the sea lions and the polar bear. Abby ate an entire LARGE ice cream sandwich. I don't think one crumb was wasted. Tyler was great, he laughed and jibber jabbed in the stroller and took a few naps. No fussing at all. We ran into some previous coworkers of mine from Raleigh who were all pregnant with me when I had Abby. We also ran into the Chavarria's who are our usual zoo buddies. It was a great day!

Little Miss Diva

I loved this outfit on Abby today. As soon as she put it on she twirled around the house. If I had any doubts about dance class in the fall - they are gone for sure.

You can see the left side of her face is pretty scratched up, Miss Graceful was running at school on Wednesday and proceeded to fall on her face.

Outside

We all decided to go outside after we got home from work and school last night to enjoy the weather a bit. Abby wanted to ride her bike and Tyler got to try out the wagon for the first time thanks to Daddy. He had a great time and loved watching Abby ride her bike. They are so cute together - I just love it.

Princess Abby and Tyler's new teeth

Just some pics from this morning. Abby insisted that she be Aurora (or Sleeping Beauty) today. It is the one princess dress she chose to keep out of the packing boxes.
I finally got a good picture of Tyler's new teeth! The two bottom ones have been coming in over the last month, but now that he is 7 months old I guess he finally feels he can show them off :)

Natural Science Center of Greensboro

We headed to Greensboro on Saturday to celebrate Cammi's 4th birthday at the Natural Science Center. We walked around outside and looked at all the animals and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Then we all headed inside for cake and presents. The kids then got to meet some of the animals up close and make some animal masks. Abby had a great time. She had a butterfly painted on her cheek and got to sing Happy Birthday!
We even got to drive by the new house - it is only going to be 4 minutes drive to the science center. Guess we are going to be making a lot more trips there this summer!
