Valentines Tea Party

All of Abigail's friends came over yesterday afternoon for a tea party. Abby loved pouring everyone "tea" from her pink teapot. She has been so excited all week long. The girls ate finger foods, drank pink "tea" (Hawaiian punch) did some arts & crafts, and decorated heart cookies with all kinds of sugar!
Tyler even joined in the fun after taking a nap thru the first half of the party.

Fun Family Fourth- Greensboro, NC

Paul and Cindy left early on the 4th to drive home to OH. We decided to skip the 4th of July parade downtown, but head to the festival afterwards. It was HOT outside, but we had a great time. Abby jumped around on the inflatables and even climbed inside this big caterpillar thing. I did not think she would ever come out! Turns out it was air conditioned inside. :) To stay cool, we all shared a snowcone (even Tyler). Abby had a heart painted on her cheek and picked out a new "crown" made of flowers with tons of streamers hanging off the back. She actually liked having her picture taken up until the very end of the day. We were all exhausted and came home and took naps in the wonderful air conditioning!

Thanksgiving

We made a quick trip home to Ohio for the holiday weekend. Thursday we had the big turkey dinner at my mom's house with Paul's family and mine. It was nice to have everyone all together. It was the first time Paul's family had met baby Tyler. Abby entertained us all singing and "playing" the piano. On Friday, we took the kids to the Air Force Museum (because they all love airplanes). I think they had a great time and (more importantly) wore themselves out!
