Fun in the sun

We went over to play at the Chavarria house today. The weather was beautiful and the kids spent the entire afternoon outdoors! I wish I would have gotten some pics of the kids on the trampoline! Abby cried when we left because she wanted to take the trampoline home with her. Tyler even got to take a turn on a bike with some help from Daddy. :)

Autumn is a photographer in Greensboro that I found thru the kids consignment store I sell at. She took some pics of the kids at the Greensboro Arboretum this past weekend. These are just a few of the pics. Tyler was teething and really not into the whole picture thing - but she got some good pictures! So much better than the whole studio thing. :)

Easter

Easter celebrating got off to an early start at daycare this past week. On Wednesday Abby had some bunny whiskers and a nose painted on her face. She requested some bunny ears to match - so off to Walmart we went. Should have bought Tyler some too now that I think about it.

Abby had an Easter Egg hunt at daycare on Thursday and thanks to my wonderful boss - I actually got to be there and hide the eggs for the kids to find! Abby even wore her new bunny ears in honor of the hunt.

Random photos

Just some random shots of the kids around the house. Tyler was a mess after dinner the other night so he got a dip in the kitchen sink, Abby not wanting to be bothered while watching The Backyardigans on the computer, Tyler's second favorite pastime - sleeping. I found Abigail in her room playing on Aunt Rhonda's old keyboard this morning. She pulled it out from under her bed (hence the dust) and starting serenading us with the ABC's in her tiara. Luckily, you can plug headphones into the keyboard, which makes Tyler's naptime go much smoother :).

Greensboro Bound

As many of you have already heard, we sold our home in Mebane!!! We have been looking for somewhere to rent in Greensboro to be closer to everything. Paul only has a couple more years on his degree, and then we will go wherever he gets a job.

Paul and I can actually carpool most days now and with us all being as Moses Cone Hospital now (the kids daycare is there as well), it just makes sense to be closer. Well, rent prices were CRAZY and we were probably going to end up in a townhome - with 2 kids and a dog that was going to make us insane!

So, long story short (too late I know) - we decided to go ahead a buy a home and then either sell in a few years or turn it into a rental. We really lucked out with the home we are buying!!! It was bought in foreclosure by a realtor and completely redone - and it is empty. All we have to do is move in! Although Abby is demanding that her room be purple this time :)

So anyway - we close May 25th in Mebane and move into the new house May 26th. Yeah!!!

Just a swingin...

The weather is so nice today that we all had to spend some time outside. To Abby, this means swinging! Of course, she made sure that Tyler had some swing time as well! He didn't cry, but I am not so sure that we was as enthusiastic as she is about it!

Sitting up!

Tyler is now sitting up on his own!! Aunt Rhonda brought him some great toys to play with now that he is upright. He loves this toy because it plays music and has flashing lights!! He was having a great time playing in his pjs this morning.
