Tyler

I took some cute pics of Tyler in his new "Nap Nanny". I love this thing!! He has been spitting up like crazy and not sleeping a whole lot at night yet. First night in the Nap Nanny and he slept from 6 1/2 hours straight!!!!

Home from Ohio

I had to post some cute pics of the kids in the van on the drive back from Ohio. Tyler was such a good baby on the way back - hardly fussed at all. Abby had her new Rapunzel doll in her lap the entire trip. She watched 2 of the Toy Story movies and the Little Mermaid. When we got home she immediately dressed in her new Ariel costume and sang and danced around the house. When that got old, she emptied the new box of diapers and made herself a "boat".

Thanksgiving

We made a quick trip home to Ohio for the holiday weekend. Thursday we had the big turkey dinner at my mom's house with Paul's family and mine. It was nice to have everyone all together. It was the first time Paul's family had met baby Tyler. Abby entertained us all singing and "playing" the piano. On Friday, we took the kids to the Air Force Museum (because they all love airplanes). I think they had a great time and (more importantly) wore themselves out!

Urgent Care

Abby did a complete face plant at the zoo, landing on cement. She was running a little faster than her legs really allowed. We were at the zoo a total of 10 minutes before we left for Urgent Care. Her nose was so swollen and bruised that I thought for sure it was broken. I was a little worried about how hard she hit her head! She was so good for the doctor and nurses there. She let them take xrays and posed perfectly for them without one single tear! She did so well that they gave her 2 princess stickers and 2 princes silly bands.

Dress-up day at school

At daycare, they have been learning about books all week. The different parts of a book (the cover, the illustrations, the pages). Today was dress up like a character from a book. I found Abby a Snow White costume after Halloween on clearance. Although it is a bit big and I had to sew her in it today :)

Must have been a good day at school, because the yellow skirt is ripped, but she still loves it!

Thanksgiving Lunch at Daycare

Paul, Tyler, and I all joined Abby at school today for the annual Thanksgiving lunch. Abby sat at a table with 2 of her BFFs - Sydney and Oshin (Ocean). Abby actually ate all the mac and cheese on her plate and took a bit of the apple cobbler but didn't touch the "traditional" Thanksgiving fixings. They even sang a song for the parents which I will add in the next post if I can figure it out again :)

1 month old!!!

Tyler is one month old today!! I just wanted to post some pics of the last month. Abby is completely in love with her baby brother! Apparently the feeling is mutual. Tyler was fussing the other night and he immediately quieted down when Paul laid him down next to Abby. He is still getting his nights and days sorted out, but I think he has this paci thing figured out! He has his weigh in at the pediatrician tomorrow, so stay tuned... He weighed 10 lbs 10 oz and is 22 inches long!

Dress-up day at school

Today was dress as a "community helper" day at Abby's school. I actually could not find a costume in the after halloween sales, but I did find this fireman t-shirt. I was surprised when she really liked her t-shirt this morning.
