Tiumblebees

The Tumblebees Gym had open gym night tonight for it's students. The Tumblebus comes to Abby's daycare once a week for her gymnastic class. She got to show off all her mad skills for us tonight and get a medal for completing her first year. One of her classmates Cammie was also there and the two of them had a great time playing!

Daddy time

I took some pics of Paul and Abby playing in the backyard today and I couldn't resist posting them. They were playing soccer of sorts, though Abby thought the objective was to tackle the ball I think. I also caught a cute shot of her flying thru the air with her pigtails behind her. So cute (and no Daddy hasn't missed catching her yet)

Costume day at school

Today is costume day at the daycare. Abby had gotten some "dress-up" costumes at Christmas so we had a few to choose from. Abby loves the Dorothy dress that Aunt Rhonda got her - so that is what she wanted to wear. She does have some sparkly red mary janes as well, but they are still a bit big so we just went for red shoes. She does not look happy in these pics, but that is only because it is morning. This child is so not a morning person!

Weekend in Asheville

Abby and I went to the Biltmore in Asheville for the festival of flowers. We met my Mom, Aunt, Grandmother, Sister and Abby's cousins there. We all had a good time. Abby got to see the flowers, meet some chickens, and pose like a rock star! We even caught a picture of her holding hands with Owen. They were too cute! We were all exhausted at the end of the day Sunday!

Ultrasound day

Well, we had our 12 week ultrasound today for baby # 2. Heart rate was 155. I am thinking it's a boy, Paul is not so convinced yet. We will hopefully find out for sure in 6 weeks or so. This little one is just like Abby in that "he" always had his left hand up above his face. So, all looks good at the moment. This baby is measuring a bit big at present. I am 12 weeks 3 days and we are measuring at 13 full weeks. They are not changing my due date yet, but if we are still a bit big at the next ultrasound we may get moved up. So for now it is Oct. 18th, but I am hoping for 10-10-10!!

Disney's Rockin Road Show at DPAC

Abby and I went to see Mickey Mouse and his friends today while Paul studied (or took a nap) I am not sure which. Abby had a great time bouncing with Tigger and seeing Mickey and Cinderella. She was a bit shy at first, but then she warmed up to everyone. She loved to tell everyone how pretty her dress was today. :)

She also tried cotton candy for the first time, and is NOT a fan!! She has not stopped singing since the show ended! Of course, she came home with lots of souvenirs because Mommy is a sucker!! But we had a great time!
