Weekend in Asheville

Abby and I went to the Biltmore in Asheville for the festival of flowers. We met my Mom, Aunt, Grandmother, Sister and Abby's cousins there. We all had a good time. Abby got to see the flowers, meet some chickens, and pose like a rock star! We even caught a picture of her holding hands with Owen. They were too cute! We were all exhausted at the end of the day Sunday!

Ultrasound day

Well, we had our 12 week ultrasound today for baby # 2. Heart rate was 155. I am thinking it's a boy, Paul is not so convinced yet. We will hopefully find out for sure in 6 weeks or so. This little one is just like Abby in that "he" always had his left hand up above his face. So, all looks good at the moment. This baby is measuring a bit big at present. I am 12 weeks 3 days and we are measuring at 13 full weeks. They are not changing my due date yet, but if we are still a bit big at the next ultrasound we may get moved up. So for now it is Oct. 18th, but I am hoping for 10-10-10!!

Disney's Rockin Road Show at DPAC

Abby and I went to see Mickey Mouse and his friends today while Paul studied (or took a nap) I am not sure which. Abby had a great time bouncing with Tigger and seeing Mickey and Cinderella. She was a bit shy at first, but then she warmed up to everyone. She loved to tell everyone how pretty her dress was today. :)

She also tried cotton candy for the first time, and is NOT a fan!! She has not stopped singing since the show ended! Of course, she came home with lots of souvenirs because Mommy is a sucker!! But we had a great time!

Abby/Daddy day

I worked all day yesterday so it was a full Daddy/Daughter day! The crazy twosome went to the Life and Science Museum in Durham for the Robofest! Abby wore the earphones in the car for the first time ever! She was watching her new movie The Princess and the Frog.

While at the museum they checked out the gift shop. Paul wanted to get Abby a robot - but Abby really wanted the large bugs lawn ornaments they were selling. Daddy let her pick one out for her house in the backyard and she even picked where it went outside her house!

Princess Abigail

Abigail loves her princess jammies - when she puts them on there is an instant smile and twirling. The tiara just makes the whole outfit!

My Little Pony

Abby and I went home to Ohio this past weekend. I went to see Wicked with my mom, sister, and Lance. Abby spent the day with the Chase side of the family.

Thanks to Aunt Rhonda - Abby brought home a My Little Pony Castle that she LOVES!! It has lights and plays music and she dances all over the living room!
