Tyler 8 1/2 months old

Tyler is getting so big so fast, I can't even keep up :) He started crawling this past week and boy is he into everything!! He is also cutting his two front teeth on top and is a bit cranky - which is not his normal. It hasn't slowed him down much though - he is eating big people food at daycare and at home now. The nice thing is that he eats EVERYTHING you give him. Including the broccoli and cauliflower at daycare for lunch!! Abby is my little helper - just ask her. She is always saying "Mommy, I'm a great helper!" Well, she helped Tyler with his mac & cheese at lunch. The first couple of spoonfuls were a bit rough - but she got the hang of it.

Swim class at the Y

Abby is in swim class again. She has made two very good friends named Lyla and McKenzie. The bonus is that their mom's are great too! She is doing great and loves her Monday nights at the Y with Mommy. Mommy loves them too!

Newest member of the family..

Meet Molly...I found this cutie on Craigslist and had to show her to Paul...of course he is a sucker for puppies too :) So, we drove to Winston-Salem today and picked her up. She is a 9 week old Lab/Beagle mix. So far, so good. Rockie was a bit shocked at first, but is doing ok with her. Abby loves her - Tyler really doesn't know what she is. :) We gave her a bath this evening and treated her for fleas. Then decided to go for a walk. She did great on the leash for a first timer. She followed Rockie's lead well. The entire neighborhood game out to meet her. She was exhausted once we got home. Let's hope the first night isn't too bad for her or us!

Kids Rooms

OK, so I finally got a couple of pics of the house on here. Tyler's room is pretty much together minus a few shelves for books. Abby's room is painted and her new curtains are hung. She will have matching bedding once we get her "big girl furniture" in a little while. We really want to get her a full sized bedroom set in white. She chose the purple of course.

Tyler also turned 8 months old on Saturday and is really working on this crawling stuff. He can get up on all fours and rock - but whenever he tries to crawl, he ends up on his belly. Soon we will have a crawler though - watch out Mommy and Daddy! :)

Gracie's Birthday Party

Abby's friend Gracie turned 4 and had a birthday party on Saturday. Tyler, Abby and I headed over to the Science Center to join the party. Abby had a great time seeing the animals and running around with her friends. She even got to pet some animals! Abby's favorite part of the whole party was the Gracie had Krispy Kreme donuts instead of birthday cake!!! They were a huge hit! She keeps asking me for donuts for her party.

Greensboro

We have been so busy unpacking that I've hardly taken any pictures. I do have a few of the cuties in the house. Tyler is getting so big! His top teeth are working their way in, so he loves to chew on things. Abby is getting used to her new room. My mom and I painted it purple last week just as Abby requested (or demanded whichever). :) She found a little cubby by the front door that is her hiding place from Monsters at present. The first week I found her there quite often - but I think she is finally settling in. Rockie has been very good and hasn't wandered too far - despite the fact that there is no fence to reign her in.

I promise to get some pics of the house this weekend - it is slowly coming together!
