Swim Class and the Slide

Abby got to go down the big water slide at swim class today! She was so excited! She told me she said "Whoo-hoo" as she went down the slide into the water. I am so glad that I had my phone on me so that I could capture the moment on video!

Sick baby

Poor Tyler has RSV (a really mean respiratory virus) and is on home albuterol treatments. He tries his best to smile at you when he sees you, but he a bit on the puny side. His breathing is pretty labored and he is running a fever. I really hope this mean virus goes away soon and his breathing eases up.

Barbie's Bath

Sunday night before bath time Abby was very quite upstairs. You know what that means - trouble! Paul went upstairs and this is what he found...have a good laugh! :)

Tyler Scott 3 1/2 months old

Tyler is getting so big!! He is in 3-6 month (mostly 6 month) clothes. He holds his head up great! He "talks" to us quite often these days and always have a big smile for his Abigial! We put him in the exersaucer for the first time this past Sunday and he loved it! He wore himself out in about 10 minutes and had to take a nap :) He is eating cereal every night before bed and sleeping better. His reflux is getting better everyday and we have even started putting him down flat in his bed at night again. Hoping to get rid of the wedge soon!

Jump and Fun

Abby's BFF Sydney had her 3rd birthday party at Jump and Fun in Greensboro this last Thursday. All the kids had a great time! The poor birthday girl was a bit ill and tossed her cookies just as we were about to cut the cake. :)

Mmmm Cereal..

OK, so my 3 months old is hungry all the time. He drinks 6 oz every 3-4 hours!!! He is still waking up twice a night to eat. So, I caved and started feeding him cereal in the evening when we get home. Tyler handled it like a pro!! After the first few bites, I couldn't get it in fast enough! It did work for the first couple of days and he slept from 8-430. But now he is up twice a night again, despite the cereal. Maybe more cereal? I only started with a Tbsp. We will see.

3 Months Old

Tyler was officially 3 months old on 1/11/11. He ended up at the doctor's for his first cold/ear infection. He weighed in at 15 lbs! He is normally a very happy baby, but he has been a bit droopy the last few days. I caught this adorable pic of my 2 favorite guys and had to share.

Tyler is almost 3 months old!! He is laughing and smiling and "talking" up a storm. He is also drooling like crazy - I think the teething has begun. I had to share some pics, because he is so stinkin cute!

Swim Class

Abigail had her first swim class at the YMCA today. She did really well. There are 2 other kids in her lesson with her. She listened to everything the teacher told her and never cried once. As long as Mommy was on the bleachers watching her, all was well. The last pic is of her after her lesson eating her snack. She loved that she got to change in the locker room with the big girls after class! We even used the hairdryer that was there which she thought was so much better than the one at home :)

We have taken pics of Abby at the same spot at the zoo each year, just wanted to pass along how much she has changed! Such a big girl, I can hardly believe it!

New Years Eve at the Zoo

We had great weather for NYE here in NC. It was in the 50s and sunny all day. We all had the day off, so we decided to head out to the zoo. It was Tyler's first successful trip (his previous one was interrupted by Abby landing on her face and then at Urgent Care). It was nice to spend the day just letting Abby burn off some steam. She was a bit disappointed that she didn't get to see the giraffes but she got a great close up view of the gorillas!
