Museum of Life and Science, Durham

Well, another Mommy and Abby day so you know we had to go out and find something to do! This time we went to the Life and Science Museum in Durham. They have a butterfly house there that Abby and I just loved! There are a ton of butterflies flying around and Abby couldn't stop laughing! She also decided that pushing her stroller was much better than sitting in it!

I also included a pic of before we left the house so that everyone could see how long her hair is getting and that she really is getting some curls! The pic in the very colorful dress is Abby showing off her new stepstool in the kitchen. She loves helping Mommy with dinner now that she can see over the counter!

Abby's expanding vocabulary

Just wanted to post the latest video of Miss Abby and her new words. She has known "Abby" for a bit now, but is now learning to say "Abigail"! Mommy and Daddy are very proud!

Another day off, another zoo trip...

Abby and I packed up and went back to the zoo today. This time we had some company. Lacey and Shona for mommy. Kennady, Dawson, and Ryan for Abby. Kennady is 5 months older than Abby and they are now becoming good friends. They ran around all over the place today and had a grand old time! They loved the sea otters and the sea lions.

Zoo

Abby and Mommy were off yesterday while Daddy was in class. So we decided to go to the zoo and see the animals. Abby's favorite were the elephants and the sea lions. She is also learning to make some pretty amusing faces!

Good thing we had a good day yesterday because Abby is now at home with a temp of 103. No other symptoms other than being a bit whiny and sleepy. But no daycare. Just a virus I am being told. Paul is coming home early today so that I can go to work and do some of my 11a-11p shift today. Hope everyone has a wonderful 3 day weekend!!
