The Birthday Party with the Petting Zoo

The kids went to a friend's birthday party today and there was a great petting zoo all set up and a pony for rides! Abby got to hold a bunny and have her first pony ride. Tyler got to torment all the animals equally, run Mommy all over the yard, slide to his hearts content and EAT! A very good day.

Easter Sunday at the Zoo

We spent Easter Sunday at the Zoo. There is a new Dinosaur exhibit that has moving dinosaurs. They roar and move! Abby loved them, Tyler was not so sure. Paul said he was losing feeling in his finger because Tyler was squeezing it so hard! T-Rex even made Tyler turn and hide into Daddy's chest. There was one that huge claws! The kids had a great time seeing all the dinosaurs and digging in the fossil dig. I even managed to get pics of both kids on the infamous elephants. I have taken Abby's pics on these elephants every year - and today I got Tyler's pic!

Tyler's new ride

Tyler has a Mickey Mouse Airplane that he loves to ride on outside. He pushes it up the big hill and just coasts down giving me a heart attack each time. Howver, he is happiest when Abby drives him around in her Barbie Jeep. I found a Buzz Lightyear toy at Walmart that is just his size and he can make it go on his own by pushing a button on the handlebar. The good news is that it is for ages 18m + so it doesn't go very fast. He loves it though! All the older kids had to come help him out! He is the youngest on the cul-de-sac so he had a lot of help :)
